Caesarstone Bathroom Remodeling: The Houston Owner’s Guide
A full Caesarstone bathroom remodel in Houston typically runs $9,000 to $28,000 installed, depending on vanity size, shower surround scope, and whether we’re replacing substrate or working with existing framing. If you’re dealing with a cracked Caesarstone countertop, a failed sink seam, or water intrusion behind a shower surround, the fix usually lands on the lower end of that range. Most Houston homeowners discover the problem the same way: a hairline crack along the sink cutout that widens, a dull spot that won’t polish out, or the soft, spongy feel of a waterlogged substrate under the stone.
We’re Bradford Remodeling Co Houston, and we’e been running Caesarstone-specific bathroom work in this market for over a decade. Curtis Lane, our owner, reads a Caesarstone spec sheet the way other guys read a box score: fast, accurate, and without missing anything in the fine print. If your Caesarstone surface has failed or the remodel around it has, this page tells you what we know, what it costs, and when it’s safe to touch it yourself.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone runs three main product lines that show up in Houston bathrooms: the Classico series (the workhorse 13mm and 20mm slabs), the Supernatural series (higher quartz content, tighter veining, typically 20mm or 30mm), and the Outdoor series (UV-stable, though we rarely see it in bathrooms). The part that fails first isn’t usually the slab itself, it’s the fabricated edge profile, the sink cutout, or the seam where two pieces of Caesarstone meet. If you’re matching an existing piece, the thickness matters more than the color name. A 13mm Classico remnant won’t sit flush against a 20mm Supernatural slab without a build-up strip under the substrate, and that changes the price.
Identify your material by looking under the front lip of the countertop for the Caesarstone label, or check the original fabricator’s paperwork. If you’ve got neither, measure the exposed edge thickness. OEM Caesarstone slabs come in 13mm, 20mm, and 30mm thicknesses. We stock the common colors in 20mm because that’s what 80% of Houston bathroom vanities spec’d after 2012. If you need a color match on an older 13mm Classico, we order directly through Caesarstone’s distributor network, and the lead time is usually 7 to 10 days. That’s the honest answer: we don’t pretend to stock every color code. We stock what Houston actually uses.
Independent note: Bradford Remodeling Co Houston is not affiliated with Caesarstone. We’re an independent service provider that installs Caesarstone products as specified, and we’re accountable for our own workmanship.

Signs Your Caesarstone Bathroom Remodeling Is Failing
- Crack radiating from the sink cutout. This is the most common failure we see in Houston bathrooms. The cutout corners concentrate stress, and if the fabricator didn’t radius the corners enough, or the cabinet settled, the crack starts there. In older homes in Meyerland and Spring Branch, foundation movement makes this worse.
- Seam separation at the vanity top. Caesarstone seams are glued with color-matched epoxy, but Houston’s humidity cycles expand and contract the wood cabinet underneath. The seam opens up a hairline, water gets in, and the substrate swells. You’ll see a dark line where the seam used to be invisible.
- Soft or swollen area around the faucet holes. That’s water damage in the substrate, not the Caesarstone itself. The quartz didn’t fail; the installation did. If the faucet wasn’t sealed correctly or the sink clips pulled loose, moisture works its way in slowly. By the time you see a stain, the substrate is done.
- Dull, cloudy spots that won’t buff out. Caesarstone is non-porous, so etching from hard water or acidic bathroom cleaners shows up as a hazy patch. Houston’s water is hard enough that this happens faster than in most markets. Often it’s cosmetic and polishable; sometimes it’s a sign the surface was chemically damaged beyond a topcoat fix.
- Shower surround panels pulling away from the wall. If Caesarstone was used as a shower surround or tub deck, the adhesive bond can fail when the backing board was never waterproofed to Houston’s humidity standard. You’ll feel movement when you press on the panel, and the grout lines will crack at the corners.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For a Caesarstone-specific bathroom remodel in Houston, expect $9,000 to $28,000 installed. The spread depends on four things: the square footage of Caesarstone you’re replacing, whether the substrate needs to be pulled and rebuilt, the complexity of the edge profile and sink mount, and whether you’re also doing the shower or keeping it to the vanity. Here’s how it breaks down in the Houston market:
- Vanity top only (20mm Caesarstone, undermount sink, standard edge): $2,000 to $5,500 installed
- Vanity top plus new cabinet installation: $3,800 to $8,000 installed
- Full bathroom remodel with Caesarstone vanity, shower surround, and tile work: $9,000 to $28,000 installed
Every quote includes the slab cost, fabrication, tear-out of the old top, substrate inspection and replacement if needed, sink and faucet reinstallation, and haul-away. We don’t itemize after you’ve signed. The written price we give you before work starts is the price you pay. If the substrate is rotted when we open it up, we show you, we tell you the number to fix it right then, and nothing moves without your say-so. That’s The Garrison Standard, and it’s non-negotiable for us.
DIY or Call Us?
Caesarstone itself is not dangerous to work with, unlike high-tension garage springs or live electrical panels. The risk here is financial, not physical. A wrong cut on a $600 slab, an unlevel cabinet that cracks the new top in six months, or an improperly sealed undermount sink that leaks into a $900 vanity: those are the DIY costs we see regularly in Houston. What you can safely check yourself: confirm your slab thickness with a ruler, take photos of the label under the lip, and measure the vanity opening. What you shouldn’t attempt: cutting, seaming, or lifting a Caesarstone slab. These pieces weigh 12 to 15 pounds per square foot. A standard 61-inch double-sink vanity top is well over 200 pounds. One bad lift and you’re buying a new slab and possibly a new floor.
If you want to price the fix, call (940) 289-7658 and ask for a free estimate. We’ll ask you for the measurements and photos, and we’ll give you a real number range over the phone, not a “we’ll see when we get there.” That’s not how we work.
FAQs

A properly installed Caesarstone vanity top will last 20 to 25 years in Houston, but the substrate underneath it won’t. Humidity and ventilation issues mean the cabinet and substrate typically fail in 10 to 15 years, which is why we inspect both whenever we do a remodel or replacement. Call (940) 289-7658 for an assessment if your top is showing stress cracks at the cutouts.
Hairline cracks away from the sink cutout can sometimes be filled and color-matched with epoxy, and the repair will hold for a few years. Cracks radiating from the cutout or seam separation mean the structural integrity is compromised, and replacement is the honest fix. We’ll tell you which one you’re looking at, and the estimate is free.
A vanity top replacement takes one day with two technicians on site. A full bathroom remodel with Caesarstone surfaces, shower work, and tile runs 7 to 14 days depending on substrate condition and whether we’re pulling permits. We give you a written schedule with your written price, and we hold to both.
We stock common Caesarstone colors in 20mm thickness at our Houston shop, and we can typically start a vanity top replacement within 5 to 7 business days. For less common colors or 30mm thicknesses, the Caesarstone distributor lead time is 7 to 10 days. We’ll tell you upfront which side of that line your color falls on.
